About
An analyst who ships, on the way to product.
I’m Kavan Thosani, a Product Analyst at Posha.
On paper the job is analysis. In practice, most of my time goes into finding the places where people on our teams do the same work again and again, and building whatever takes it off their plate:
- CX replies: an AI agent that learns from our most trusted human CX agents, answers customers, and improves over time.
- Payments and deliveries: automations that handle payment follow-ups for our main device and send customers their delivery-tracking links.
- Repairs: tooling that helps teams reach customers easily, with less manual back-and-forth.
- Repair analytics: a dashboard that breaks repairs down by device generation, state and more, so we can see where things actually go wrong.
The thread through all of it: spot the problem, build the fix, measure whether it worked. That loop is what pulls me toward product management.
Why this site
I’m early, and I’d rather learn in the open than wait until I feel ready. So this site is two things:
- Teardowns: longer breakdowns of products I admire, and the decisions behind them.
- Notes: a public notebook. Short, rough, and frequent.
